Domestic Violence Advocacy Service (DVAS) Central is a free service which helps women who have experienced, or are at risk of domestic violence, access support.
DVAS provides people with a safe and friendly environment to access advocacy and legal services.
This is a free service.
Women can be referred by other health professionals, using the referral form below, or can self-refer.
Support and Assistance
All services at DVAS Central are provided within the context of a supportive and safe environment. All WHFS staff members are female, and can provide assistance with:
- Discussing available options
- Safety planning
- Applying for a restraining order
- Obtaining support and advice from legal services
- Referrals to other agencies (including counselling services)
Interpreters and Bilingual Services
