Appointments can be made to see our Dietitian for a one-on-one consultation. This allows you time to ask questions and get tailored advice that is most relevant to your lifestyle and diet.
Our Dietitian can help advise you on many different nutrition and health issues such as:

Talks and Workshops

Staff at Womens Health and Family Services offer nutrition activities and talks coordinated by a Dietitian. Nurses, mental health professionals, community workers and fitness instructors are also available to give information on a diverse range of topics.
Some of the nutrition activities and talk topics available through WHFS include:

  • Supermarket Shopping tours
  • Healthy lunch box ideas for children
  • General Healthy Eating
  • Vitamin D workshops

  • Other topics on request ie pregnancy and menopause. All events can be tailored to suit specific group requirements.

    Interpreters and Bilingual Services

    WHFS staff are happy to use interpreters or bilingual workers.
    If an interpreter is required for your group, please discuss this with us at the time of booking.


    We have a sliding scale of charges for our community talks depending on your group’s ability to pay.
