Womens Health & Family Services is seeking a suitably qualified Counsellor specialising in Perinatal Mental Health (PNMH) on a part time basis.
The position is for 3 days per week (45 hours per fortnight). The pay rate is pro-rata $82,774 to $86,529 P.A (dependent on experience and qualifications). The position is a one year (12-month contract) with a possible extension.
Responsibilities will be to deliver a specialised clinical service targeting women with perinatal mental health issues, develop evidence-based programs and services to meet the needs of service users and work within the broader community sector to develop partnerships and collaborations to meet the diverse and complex needs of the client groups and to establish and implement integrated service models
The role includes:
- Provide initial clinical assessments and individual counselling to women accessing the service.
- Provide occasional outreach assessments and counselling.
- Facilitate, evaluate and contribute to the ongoing development of therapeutic perinatal groups in conjunction with PNMH staff.
