I asked a friend to help me book an appointment at WHFS.
I was too scared to do it myself as my husband is very controlling and I didn’t want him to know that I was getting contraception. My husband wanted more children, but I didn’t want any more. My English is not that good so a medical interpreter helped me to get a copper IUD on my first appointment.
The doctor and nurse were very helpful; they talked to me about the available options and information about domestic violence. I was so grateful for all their help.
